Internationally awarded short film DOLORES written, directed and produced by Edyta Niewinska

Structure creates artistic freedom

I've never believed that creativity is chaos.

The moments that matter most on set are often impossible to predict. They appear for a second and disappear just as quickly. The only way to capture them is to be ready.

That's why I prepare everything, down to the last detail. Not to control the process, but to give it room to breathe.

Because the better the structure, the greater the freedom to create something extraordinary.

I came to Spain more than a decade ago, after living in four other countries. I started my artistic career in my teenage age, always fascinated by what happens between the first idea and the final frame.

What began with storytelling, writing and publishing three novels, grew into directing, producing and helping other filmmakers bring their projects to life. Along the way I discovered that the work I enjoy most happens behind the scenes—where creative ideas become practical decisions and productions move forward because someone is quietly solving problems.

Extremadura feels like one of Europe's last undiscovered film regions. Extraordinary locations, genuine people and the space to create something unique. That's why I founded Extremadura Film Service. Not to offer a catalogue of locations, but to become a trusted local partner for producers who need someone that understands both filmmaking and the realities of production.

Because every production deserves more than logistics.

It deserves someone who cares about the film as much as the people making it.
